General Policies

  • At the time of booking, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment date and time. Your session deposit can be made in the form of credit card/debit card through our online invoicing system. Appointments made without deposit may not be honored and are subject to cancellation. Deposits that are not paid within the 7 day period of setting an appointment may not be honored and subjects the appointment to cancellation. Payment of the deposit acts as an agreement to all of the GBC Visuals policies.  

  •  Sessions must be paid in full prior to shoot date or immediately after the shoot via the form of credit card/debit card through our online invoicing system. An additional $25 surcharge will be added on all sessions where client is beyond 30 minutes late. Session end times will not be extended to accommodate client lateness.

  • If you are unable to make your photo session all deposits will act as a cancellation fee. 72 hours of advance notice of cancellation is required in order to credit the deposit towards a future session. The photographer reserves the right to deny service to any client(s) who repeatedly have a history of cancellations. If Gaberial Booker Creative Visuals cannot perform this contract due to fire or other casualty, strike, act of God, or other cause beyond the control of the parties, or due to the Photographer's illness or emergency, then the Photographer shall return the retainer fee to the client, but shall have no further liability with respect to the contract. This shall also apply in the event that photographic materials are damaged in processing, lost through camera or other media malfunction, lost in mail or otherwise lost or damaged without fault on the part of the Photographer. In the event Gaberial Booker Creative Visuals fails for any other reason, Gaberial Booker Creative Visuals shall not be liable for any amount in excess of all monies paid. 

  • Image proofs are returned to client 1-4 days after being taken. Unedited proof images are watermarked. Images take 4-10 Business days (Monday-Friday) to be edited from the time of photo selection, and are subject to extension depending on project size. If client would like the unedited images without a watermark a release fee is required.

  • Photo Editing is a part of all of our photo packages. This includes color corrections, exposure adjustments, clarity adjustments and more. All final photos that are delivered will go through either standard or premium editing. This is determined at the time of booking. Please refer below for visual examples.

EDITING PROCESS

Raw File

A RAW file or proof is lossless, meaning it captures uncompressed data from the camera’s sensor. The raw images are unedited, capturing the scene exactly as it is, which may include different lighting equipment, people or setups in the background. 

Standard Edit

This comes standard to any package of your choice. The editing will consist of minor skin retouch, minor flyaway removal, highlights & shadows balanced,

Premium Edit

This is a paid add-on to any package of your choice. The editing will consist of body sculpting, color manipulation, flawless hair, flawless skin with refined texture, background color enhancement, foreground color enhancement, removal of all background distractions, and creative background editing.

FAQs

Where are you located?

GBC Visuals is located in Wichita, Kansas.

Will I receive all photos from the shoot?

No, we do not. We eliminate duplicate images, test shots, missed focused shots, shots with bad expressions and other images that may dilute the overall product delivery. We don’t expect you to have the expertise or the time to zoom into each image to select the one with the sharpest focus, so we spend hours doing that on our end. With our expertise of processing millions of images each year, we may eliminate ones that we feel are duplicates and only deliver the best one.

Are you willing to travel?

Yes! Any shoot located outside of the Wichita, Kansas area will be subject to a travel fee. The travel fee varies based on the location and the needs of the shoot. You can find more information under our add-on section when booking a session. If you don’t see your city please contact us for accurate pricing.


Do you edit or retouch photos?

Yes. The extent of editing or retouching is determined when booking. Please refer to our Edits vs Retouch example above.

How will I receive my photo/videos?

All final photos and videos will be delivered through an online gallery where you can view and download.

How far in advanced should I book my session?

The sooner, the better! Bookings tend to go quickly the closer we get to specific dates. Booking in advance will ensure you get the time and date that works best for you. We occasionally have last minute spots available, so don’t hesitate to send us a message to find out!
